RUDY HAS NOW GONE TO HIS FOREVER HOME

FOSTERER'S INITIAL REPORT - IRELAND

Sandie says: Rudy was handed in to IRR from a man who found him running loose on the motorway. He kept Rudy at home overnight and got on well with his rescuer's other dogs, cats and chickens.

Rudy had a filthy undercoat which was manky to touch but after 2 hours of grooming he looks a lot better now, although his fosterers will need to continue grooming him as I doubt I'll get to finish it before he goes. He is a very quiet boy and really enjoys all the attention he gets here. He's the ONLY DOG EVER who sat to have his photo taken just after arriving - this guy is bomb proof and totally chilled and would suit any home situation.

I'll be taking him in to my vet to be neutered tomorrow.

DEC 2011: FOSTERER'S INITIAL REPORT - UK

Rudy arrived safely last night and there were no problems with him during the one hour journey back home.

As mentioned in Sandie's e-mails Rudy is very affectionate and a bit on the timid side. He's met our other dogs and i don't think he knows quite what to make of them: at the moment he hides himself away in another room!!

There's been no signs of any aggression and I think he would like to play with Freddie and Bonnie. It's early days and I'm sure they'll become great friends over the Festive Season.

JAN 2012: RUDY HAS NOW GONE TO HIS FOREVER HOME

I'm very pleased to report that Rudy has found a wonderful forever home with Martin in Darlington. We wish Martin every success with Rudy and I'm sure he'll settle in very quickly becoming firm friends with Doolin, also an IRR rescued golden retriever.
