21st January 2008
Well, where to begin? I am really settled in my new home, I am much more confident now I know this is where I am staying. I now play with toys, they are great fun. And I still love my food! And attention, it’s great I have two pairs of hands that always succumb to nudging and give my hours of attention – apparently I am so soft!
I go to my ‘Granny’s & Granddad’s’ on a week day, Keira is there and we have fun together. Plus there is another two pairs of hands who can stroke me; they are easily persuaded as well! We go on nice walks and meet up with our other friends. I met my ‘cousin’ Tia at Christmas – she was a lot of fun! She is very young and we played and chased each other!
I love going on walks, I’m very good at coming back when called. Although I do hate being on the lead – it slows me down, I have to keep pulling to get them to keep up!
I had a really nice Christmas – lots of pressies and festive food! Apparently we are all off on holiday soon, with Keira as well. Off to a cottage in Dorset where we will go on lots of long walks – we did a practice one of 5 miles yesterday, you can see a photo of me after below – I was shattered! Well for about an hour!
People we meet say I am a very happy dog and I really am – thank you to everyone who helped me be happy again.

This is me at Easter for a break in the Cotswolds. It was very cold and it snowed but I had a great time!

That's my mummy, Kerry. She's a silly billy. She has two legs, but she's on the floor. What's that all about?
I like to smile. Sometimes people don't understand us goldies showing teeth... I'm a smiler. I can't help it.

This is my greeting ritual in the mornings, I sing like a canary and so I have acquired the nickname Kaleigh Minogue!

This is me in Scotland with Keira on Windy Hill, it was very windy! We also went on a hill walk up Ben Arthur (the "Cobbler" Grandad Williamson calls it), where I ran around like a loony - it was great!

This is me at the IRR reunion, I met Jasmine, Bailey and Diesel - it was a lovely day. I won 3rd prize in the Prettiest Bitch category and I have not put my prize toy down since!
