PERRY (previously called Duke) was found roaming around Cork and was absolutely petrified of everything and everyone. He arrived at Sandie's a quivering wreck and had to be carried in through the door. Perry settled in really well and has somewhere he likes to sit in every room. The living room for example - the sofa (as you can see). He absolutely adores Joey (the other retriever). He spends most of his time either cuddled up and cosy beside Joey or out in the garden playing and running around with him. UPDATE AUG 09 Vanessa said. "It has been a long but rewarding road. Perry now plays and loves life like any other normal dog, although when out of his comfort zone he can return to what I term as his RSPCA demeanour. It just shows that they never fully forget the trauma. REUNION 2009 Perry won the Shannon Memorial Award at the Reunion. Vanessa said. "Perry and I are very touched and excited that his development has been honoured with a reward!
