Annie ( NOW JESSIE )

Now in her forever home in Nottingham

Lorraine says
She was great, she LOVES soft toys and is very gentle with them. She hopped in the car and grabbed the grunting strawberry and was showing it off, she mouthed it the whole way, I am just glad I only had the grunting one not any squeaky ones in there. She was very responsive and calm and when I opened the boot to get Alphie out, I asked her to sit and wait and she did bless her. She will make somebody a lovely girl.

Amy, her fosterer says
Annie has settled really well....no signs of stress at all she does love to find things and bring them to you.....or munch on them....lol I have checked out the prize guarding and it looks fine so there is no aggression She is totally in love with my daughter bryony who is 11. As far as the cats go.....she more interested in their food than them. She is definitely fine with the cats. She has learned sit and down already....with chicken as lure. She has a great nose and would probably really enjoy doing some sort of scent work, even if it just for fun She is incredibly loving

ORPHAN ANNIE
Well, true to her name, poor little Annie had to move again as poor Amy had an accident and was unable to continue looking after her so Annie was on her travels again. After sad goodbyes to Amy and family, she was taken by kind Aunty Maxine to her new foster mummy, Diane in Aldershot who says Just to let you know that Annie has settled in very well, she is very fond of my little girl so if you find one you find the other. I put the stair gate up at the kitchen door and Annie slept in there last night I stayed in the front room just so she could still hear me . There has been no problem what so ever with her. Taking her to the forest today for a couple of hours so I can get a one on one bond with her. Further Upate 25th Jan I am using the flower essences from Lynne. Annie is totally clean and lets you know if she needs to go out. I took her out this morning for a couple of hours we went to the canal and she loved it . She made 2 friends which was nice . I think the main thing she needs training on is the drop command. We just keep swapping our things for hers. It is the only time she shows how stubbon she can be . lol .

GREAT NEWS
Diane, her fosterer says Have great news Annie has moved on to her forever home . Jo and her husband were delighted with her and Annie took to them instantly so good news all round . They were really lovely people so I know Annie is going to be 100 percent loved. Thanks for sending her to me to foster. She has been a joy to look after.

Just to let you know that Jessie (originally Annie) has had a lovely start to her new life. Its like she has always been here and she has been lovely with the kids too. She is as you said the perfect family dog!

UPDATE 20.03.07
JESSIE has settled in brilliantly.
She is now much better in the car and we did make it to visit my parents by the sea which was great. Once back home we took the plunge and decided to try her off lead and oh my goodness she is such a good dog. 9 and a half times out of ten she comes straight back and sits and waits for her treat. She had such a good time walking around the nature reserve near our home leaping in and out of the water and running after all the exciting smells.
Unfortunately she then developed burning paws and had to be rested for a week (no walks!), the vet said it was probably all the new surfaces and the fact she may not have been used to such long walks. Then we were allowed to take her out again and built up to letting her off the lead and again she has been brilliant. I think she would love doing agility and to get her used to being around so many dogs (she loves the sound of her own voice still) we took her to her first obedience class where she was top of the class.
