Carly

CARLY is only about 6mths old and was found straying with her mum, Crystal. Despite every attempt to find their owners during their 2 week foster in Ireland, nobody ever came forward to claim them. Although Carly was in generally good condition, her mum, Crystal, was in a very poor state and is still being nursed back to health by Val and Andy. Carly was fostered by Nicola and family in Somerset and proved to be a delightful little girl who adored the children and all the other dogs.

Report from her new home:- Carly has got used to Henry (the cat) although Blue (the other cat) has been staying away and only come back for her dinner. She is also getting along well with Sacha (rescue golden retriever).

    UPDATE on CARLY

Carly is settling in fine and is just coming to the end of her first 6 week training course and has just passed her bronze recall.  We will then be starting the next course with her in August. She is a little angel.

Given half a chance, she would still like to roam. She likes to check to see if the gate is open so that she can go. Also, hasten to say, we have not let her off of her lead but have a long piece of rope so that she can have a bit of a run.

She has been excellent in the house and we only had a few puddles when we first had her. Since then she had been really good although she likes to get up on the settee and the bed (which she is not allowed to do).

She is getting on really well with Sasha and we have had no problems at all with them getting along together. Henry also takes no notice of her.  Blue has now decided that she does not mind her (or maybe the other way around) and they can now be in the same room together (although Carly will chase her if she moves too fast).
