BILLY BILLY'S HISTORY FOREVER HOME REPORT Billy has experienced a number of walks, not an easy experience but he is quickly learning not to pull our arms out of our sockets at every pace and he is starting to understand 'heel' and 'sit' before crossing the road. Lorries and noisy cars are a challenge, but he is finding his feet and gaining a little more confidence with every adventure. The local park was a wonder for him, the wide open space was, I think He likes to meet other dogs but appears to be quite singular, he came across three Staffordshire bull terriers which worried him quite a lot, luckily the owner of the staffs Billy is not sure of the cat, not unfriendly just unsure, he has met the resident cat once who went in the opposite direction, Billy just sat and watched, didn't make a move, so we must assume he is either not interested in cats, or not this one anyway! Time will tell...... Billy likes his food, he is settling into his feeding pattern very quickly and recognises that good behaviour results in a treat as well...not always but most of the time. It is early days and I am sure we all have lots to learn about each other, but the first 24 hours passed without any major incident, lots of love and affection, and above all lots of bonding.
