BIRMINGHAM BLACK COUNTRY HALF MARATHON

Congratulations and heartfelt thanks from everyone at IRR to Becky White who completed the
Black Country Half Marathon in 2 hours 20 minutes and raised just under six hundred pounds.

Jane writes:

It all started on a wet and windy day on the 7th July 2012 when Becky was to run her first half marathon in aid of Irish Retriever Rescue but then I think someone was looking down on her as the sun shone and it only rained towards the end.

A big thank you to all who supported and sponsored her. Also a big thank you to the Mare & Colt Pub at Summerfield for letting us gatecrash their Prostate Cancer charity event to raise awareness for the IRR and to collect more sponsors for Becky.

Well done Becky!
