SANDIE'S SPONSORED SLIM FOR TAMBA (MANY TEARS) & IRR

Sandie did a sponsored slim to raise money for Tamba and for Irish Retriever Rescue with 50% of proceeds going to each. Sandie's starting weight was 93 kilos and she managed to lose 5kg.

All contributions are now in and the grand total was £220.

     FROM GLENDA......TAMBA FUND
Just writing to thank you so much for the £110 cheque for the Tamba Fund which arrived today.

Please also thank Sandie for all her hard work. I am so glad that the money raised has been split with Retreiver Rescue as I know how much money all rescues need in order to function.

Tamba has now gone to live with Hana and her dog Pip in Oxfordshire. Sylvia and Lisa wanted Tamba to go to a home where there was dog company as Tamba was so used to it. I have spoken to Hana a few times and she says that Tamba is now becoming a bit dominant with Pip. Like I said to Wendy though without this sort of spirit Tamba might not have come through everything as I feel it was too much for one dog to endure.

Although Tamba will never walk like other dogs there is a vast improvement than how things used to be. It is not known as yet if further surgery would be beneficial or not but I feel there probably will be more.

Hana has also sent me some money so I shall hold it all until we know exactly what is needed for Tamba.

Many thanks once again and keep up the good work. Thank God there are people who care so passionately about animals.
Sincere best wishes
Glenda
