PUDSEY'S YEAR Wow, I can hardly believe it's been a year since the wonderful Pudsey came into our lives as a foster dog with 'mild' HD (yeah right mild!!!). What a roller coaster year it's been, even from the first day when he slipped his collar on the M6 motorway and took off up the hard shoulder, he had half of the west midlands force out looking for him. Very happy to say he survived that with flying colours. He has had two failed attempts at total hip replacements, and the last operation only two and half months ago to remove his hip completely. Pudsey is one amazing dog, not once has he let all his pain and fear change his cheerful personality. Who ever meets him is always won over by his charm, and wonderful face. We were given pudsey as a wedding present from Lorraine at IRR, whom we can't thank enough. Also, we would like to thank all the people who helped raise money for Pudsey's operations, and also, of course, Hugh (vet) at the Animal house who has spend the last year doing everything in his power to help Pudsey, he has worked so hard. Although we are lucky enough to have seven wonderful dogs, there is just something about Pudsey, he has a very special place in our hearts, forever. Thanks Pudsey, we love you more than words can say, this one is for just you Puds.
