KAZ
MY name is Karen and I am known as Kaz to my friends. I have lived in Kent since I was 18 before that in SE London. One day I many travel somewhere up North but not yet. I have lived with dogs since I can remember. The first was a real bitsa called Cindy. Our family have lived with goldens since I was 13 so quite a while. I had Kerry as a 7 week old pup and decided to foster a month before she was 3. My first foster, Molly, is still here as, after 12 weeks, I could never let her go. She was officially adopted on my birthday (May 2006) although it seems she has been here forever. Molly is a month younger than Kerry, both born in 2003. Since I started fostering I have become the mad dog woman to the locals and they like to ask me about their dog problems. May have to get new career instead of being a postie. Apart from fostering and homechecking, I have just become the editor of the IRR newsletter. I love dogs and cannot ever imagine my life without them. My girls are so sweet and are always making me laugh. Who needs therapy when you can live with dogs :-) Kaz with Molly and Kerry
Kaz has a smashing son called LUKE, who is her greatest supporter and helper. Here he is being a ROVERing reporter for the newsletter
I also help my mum with the fostering and am glad of it since I have had the experience of walking 3 dogs, which is great fun, and also listening to Denny (one of our foster dogs) singing Bob the builder with my mum. He was the better singer, lol. I am hoping to start a business with my mum to help dogs with behavioural problems and, in this way, to be able to help the IRR in future times.
