TONY: TRANSPORTER and HOMECHECKER

I’m Tony from Guildford in Surrey, a surveyor / engineer . I‘ve always been around dogs from a very early age. I have a strangely calming effect on all dogs I meet including the most difficult. People have commented on how dogs behave around me. Kaz once assured me that one of her goldies wouldn’t get on with me as she didn’t like men (I mean the dog), yet within a couple of minutes of my arrival at Kaz’s place the dog was like putty in my hands….. perhaps I was a dog in a previous life.

I was introduced to the IRR by Kaz not so long ago and am I suppose the ‘new boy’ I now do transporting when possible, home checks in several counties and also help with fund raising.
My two dogs are Holly age 9 and Bella age 8, both beautiful Black Labs and both completely mad.

I have always been very passionate about dogs and the way they are treated, almost to the point of being a bit scary. I love being able to play a part in saving these wonderful dogs albeit a small part compared to other members of the team.
