Marlow Jones

Marlow, Moomin, Moo, Smiler, Mr Whiskers 25/12/12 – 21/12/25
Marlow’s dad said:, “We are absolutely devastated and heartbroken to announce that we have had to say goodbye to our most gentle boy Marlow.
We fostered Marlow in March 2014 and after his adoption fell through and after Moo made such a bond with his big brother Angel Fin, we decided that he wasn’t going anywhere and he found his forever home with us x He was such a frightened little boy but with the help of Fin and with lots of love and reassurance he blossomed into the most gentle lovable boy.
Moo was such a mommy’s boy and was never far from my side. He loved the wobblebox and his holidays but most of all he loved a ball. He was such a good boy and never put a paw out of place. With his distinctive Woowoo and grin he was a happy boy with the softest fur, he loved cuddles. He really was the sweetest, most gentle soul we have ever met.
Over the last 12 months Moo has struggled with his mobility after being diagnosed with arthritis, Spondylitis and Laryngeal paralysis. He was on a cocktail of meds and we used a harness to aid him and then he got his chariot …oh how he loved his chariot, it gave him the opportunity to be out and about, he would amble a little and then happily hop in when he got tired x
Angel boy, we hope you were met by big brother Fin and Nanny Barbara . You were 4 days shy of your 13th birthday.
Go have fun with Fin, baby boy, you can now run for your ball like you used to but please check in on us from time to time.”

History

This lovely boy was surrendered to IRR by his owner who had no time for him.
Personality
Magical Marlow is adjusting to life as a pet, having previously been left to his own devices. He was quite nervous on arrival, and completely unfamiliar with walking on a lead. However, he is learning very quickly, is very affectionate with a lovely waggy tail. He’s great with other dogs and good in the car.
Marlow’s dream home
This boy would love a home with another friendly dog so that they can get up to lots of mischief together. His new owner should be experienced with large dogs and able to continue the positive and patient lead training that he has started in his foster home, and encourage him to continue to gain confidence in his daily life.
Fostered: in Staffs.

May 2014
Not only Marlow’s fosterers, Yvette and Tim, have fallen in love with him so he will be staying with them and his new brother Finlay, who have become firm friends.
