Ben

Age: 11

Sex: Male

History

Ben was surrendered to IRR by his family who didn’t have time to look after him properly.

Personality:
Ben is a timid but lovely old boy with a lot of love to give. He’s good with children, other dogs and rabbits, but he’s quite interested in cats! He’s very well behaved with food and toys. Unfortunately since being rescued by IRR Ben has been diagnosed with a neurological condition which makes it difficult for him to walk. However, he loved the ‘idea’ of going for a walk, and gets very excited when he sees a lead or when he is put into the car! He is a good traveller, and loves atention – brushing and cuddles being his favourite things in the world.

Ben’s Dream Home:
Because Ben is quite a nervous boy he will need an owner who gives him the time and space to do things at his own pace without pressure. He is generally a lovely gentle boy who needs reassurance, love and patience. His foster family have all fallen in love with him. Due to his neurological condition which will require ongoing medication, IRR are prepared to discuss the financial aspects of looking after this lovely boy’s health in the long term with a potential adopter.

Fostered in: Leicester

Behaviour with other small animals:
Good with dogs and rabbits, not so much with cats!
