Benson was surrendered to IRR by his owner as she was unable to look after him any more.

Personality:
Benson is a wonderful older gentleman, good with children and other dogs. He is excellent on his lead and walks calmly. He looks older than his age, and has a beautiful fluffy coat.

Benson’s Dream Home:
Benson would make a great pet for any family, as he is very calm and good on his lead. He deserves to be the centre of attention, in a calm household where he can keep an eye on everything that is going on. He will reward any home with his great sunny, happy personality.

Benson has gone to his Forever Home

March 2014 – Update from Benson’s Forever Home

Just a quick update to let you know we picked up Benson and delivered him to his wonderful new home in North Devon.

Benson now has a half acre garden to explore every day and the opportunity to explore the beaches and countryside of North Devon. Benson is better than we could ever have expected and I’m sure this is down to the love, care and attention given to him by Mark & Karen, his wonderful fosterers. We’d like to thank all at Irish Retriever Rescue for all the hard work and patience in finding such a perfect dog for my mother – we just couldn’t have done it without you.
