Bowie

NOV 2011: BOWIE HAS NOW GONE TO HIS FOREVER HOME

OCT 2011: FOSTERER’S INITIAL REPORT

Bowie is a very friendly dog who loves to be with you all the time. He is very gentle even though a little boisterous but he has eventually got the hang of staying in bed! He shows no aggression to other dogs and is friendly with all people he meets. He does jump up at the moment which I am working on. He shows no fear of anything be it large buses or goats and is really interested in everything that is happening around him. He pulls hard on the lead and dances around a little at first. He also loves cushions, mobile phones and remote controls but is already beginning to respond to me when I tell him no. He is laying quietly at my side so hopefully he will have a nap so that I can! He also loves watching TV. Overall he is a really handsome and lovely natured boy who should respond to some training in manners

FOSTERER’S SECOND REPORT

Bowie is a stunning boy with a beautiful coat. He is really happy to let you groom him and sleeps all night to 7.30 or 8am. He loves other dogs but can be a bit overpowering so I think he would be happy if placed with a family with calm confident dogs.

Bowie has no fear of thunder, fireworks and traffic. He is very clever and is learning Sit, Down and Stay, obeying his commands most of the time. In spite of his anxiety Bowie has learned a great deal in a few days. He didn’t really understand about eating his dinners and would just graze. Now he finishes his meals and seems much more content afterwards.

Bowie is making good progress, it appears he has not lived in a house before and is finding it a little difficult to adjust. Bowie did not seem to recognise the notion of using a bed but now seems to be seeing this space as his own. He had obviously never played with toys and this is something that is more difficult to overcome as he would much prefer to run around with a cushion or a remote control!

Here I am in one of my rare moments of calm!
