Bracken

Bracken’s History

Bracken is approximately 6 years old. She was found straying and served 5 days in the Pound but wasn’t reclaimed.

Fosterer’s first report: Ireland – 31st December 2012

Bracken is quite small. She has never been bred from,; travels well in the car; gets on well with other dogs and has a very even temperament.

She enjoys being groomed and sitting by the log burner.

Bracken is a beautiful sweet natured girl. She walks brilliantly on the lead and also off the lead. Her recall is superb.

She loves to be groomed and loves nothing more than to snuggle up next to you.

She settles very well at night, sleeping in her dog bed. When we are out during the day she is very well behaved and is not a destructive dog. No chewing at all.

She adores my three dogs and is also excellent with my pet sitting dogs. She did chase Murphy out of the kitchen a couple of times and frighten the life out of him, but as you will see from the photos they are very close friends now.

She needs to be kept separate when feeding and will only eat wet food. She does take treats with my dogs and is very well behaved. Her manners are exceptional and she knows her commands.

Health wise Bracken’s teeth would benefit from regular brushing.

Bracken could be placed in any home. She loves all humans and has had great fun with my children and their friends. I have not been able to cat test her.
