Cassidy

CASSIDY’S HISTORY

Cassidy is 16 month old and was surrendered into the pound.

INITIAL REPORT – IRELAND FEBRUARY 2012

Cassidy arrived and as all fosterers already had dogs he spent a few days at The Dog Ranch where he was asessed and he proved to be a star in the making according to their Behaviourist. He enjoyed being in a pack as can be seen from this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAWE1hEiCHo. He was very respectful of the older dogs and played with them all, from the resident St Bernard to the Westie. He then spent a few days at Sandie’s where he got on well with her 8 resident dogs. Sandie spent hours grooming him and he just stood there and let her brush away. He’s a very affectionate boy with lots of love to give, walks well on the lead and is extremely well behaved. He loves to be next to you with his head buried in your thigh. He’s be suitable for any home situation.

FOSTERER’S REPORT – UK MARCH 2012

I picked Cassidy up early on Saturday morning and brought him back home. I walked him around the garden then started to introduce him to my pack one at a time. He took a shine to my big lab Watson and they play constantly.

Up to now Cassidy seems like the perfect dog; a dog that anyone could be proud of. Even when walking around the garden on a lead he is so gentle and he does not stray far from you; almost like he always needs to see where you are. His recall is good; he is fine with my partner’s children who are 12 and 15 yrs. Only issue I have had with Cassidy so far is that he does not seem to be house trained, but as time passes this will soon be sorted.
