Cloud Pettis

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

A BEAUTIFUL CLOUD IN THE SKY

On 17th January 2014, kind, gentle Cloud passed over Rainbow Bridge. This sweet old dog was very much loved by his whole family who are all feeling very sad at having to say “goodbye” to him.

They told us it was with a very heavy heart she had to let us know that our sweet boy Cloud had gone to Rainbow Bridge. He was put to sleep the morning of 17th January, when his mobility had become so restricted that he could no longer even wag his tail and he was obviously in pain. They knew he was on borrowed time as the vet had advised them last July that they should start considering the need to make some very difficult decisions

Benniess said ” It was an absolute honour having this sweet unassuming boy in our lives. Our house is very empty and there is a big hole in our hearts tonight. Run free dear sweet boy you will always be missed.”

For sure, there is yet another wonderful Golden Dog Angel in Heaven now

CLOUD’S STORY

In 2011, Cloud was a 9 year old neutered Golden Retriever who had beenreluctantly surrendered by his owners due to a change in family circumstances.

MY NEW HOME FROM CLOUD

I am very happy here with my new mum and dad and Gary.

Then, nearly every day, the big boy Callum (I love him we always have a good game) and the little person Sorrel (she gives lovely cuddles) and their mum Caroline, come to visit.

So, as you can see, I have lots of love and attention.

I have just come back from holiday with mum and dad in their caravan it is great there, right in the countryside, lots of good walks and smells and lovely mud !!! Mum says we will be spending a lot more time up there soon, grrreat! Bye for now love Cloud.

A WORD FROM MY MUM

We have all fallen in love with the dear old fellow, he is so kind, gentle and laid back. He makes friends wherever he goes and is becoming quite a celebrity in the village as everyone stops to fuss him.

Thank you so much to IRR for allowing us to keep him.
