Daisy

Age: approximately 1

Sex: female, spayed.

History

Delightful Daisy was surrendered to IRR because she allegedly barked at cattle near her home. It appears that she has spent her life on her own, she didn’t even know her name when she arrived into her foster home, and had no training.

Personality
Daisy may not be a purebred goldie, but a close cross (perhaps with a duck-tolling retriever). This delightful darling was absolutely terrified and traumatised when she arrived into her foster home, scared of absolutely everything including people and other dogs. She had no training and initially found going for walks to be a very fearful experience. However, after a brief period in one of our fantastic foster homes she is a totally transformed character and we are thrilled to say that she will make a wonderful pet.

She already knows her name and is thoroughly enjoying her walks and meeting new people and other dogs. isn’t food or toy possessive, is great with children, loves other dogs and good with cats. She would chase rabbits if given the opportunity.

She remains a very timid dog, but is likely to continue to come out of her shell in the right positive, loving environment.

Daisy’s Dream Home
Daisy needs somebody who will give her love patience and ongoing gentle training. She increases in confidence daily, and is easily trainable because she is so eager to please. She will make a beautiful pet for a very lucky home.

Behaviour with other animals excellent with dogs and cats. Likely to chase wildlife.
