Declan Quinn – Irish Retriever Rescue

Declan’s mum Tracey said, “Team Quinn are heartbroken after saying goodbye to our darling IRR Dog Declan as he crossed to Rainbow Bridge.

Peter and I were there till the end. Run free our beautiful boy, Princess Lolly is waiting for you.

Declan is 3 years old and was surrendered as the family moved to a rural area and were worried about him with neighbouring livestock.

Declan is perfect in the car and on the lead.

He has a lovely quiet personality and at times can be a little timid.

I am told by his previous owner that he’s very good with children and I have no reason to think otherwise.

He’s housetrained, although he’s done a bit of marking today.

Declan is proving to be a real gentleman with total respect for my other dogs. He’s not sure how to play, but maybe he’s overwhelmed with my 7.

He is very gentle in handing over toys etc., and would suit any type of household and age range from babies to older people.

He would benefit greatly from being with another dog who could bring him out of his shell a bit.
