Dinky Simpson

ANOTHER ROMMIE SUCCESSFULLY REHOMED

EARLY DAYS

Originally called Ada, Dinky was a medium sized, medium haired Crossbreed who was spayed, vaccinated etc and had her Pet Passport.

She was approximately 3 years old and is one of 3 siblings. She and her brother (Toto) arrived in the UK on 16.6.2010 with their other sister (Bela) having already been rehomed in the UK.

Ada is people friendly and good with dogs/bitches and we have been told she is OK with cats but she has only been tested whilst on a lead. She was due to be cat tested properly whilst in foster with Terry and Belinda and “family” in Somerset.

FIRST REPORT FROM BELINDA

Ada is about the size of Carmen but with a thick coat. She will look much better after Tina, the groomer, has had a go at it tomorrow. It is not as long as Toto’s but is very thick. One surprise is Ada has absolutely no tail at all, not even a docked one.

She is quite nervous of our girls though getting better now she has realised they are not going to attack her. She craves attention and cuddles up to you at every opportunity. She is not keen on going into the crate, but, once in there, she settles down. They are both obviously very tired.

ADA (now DINKY) UPDATE 19.6.2010

Belinda says “Ada is a dear little thing. She is very inoffensive and a bit timid. She badly needed grooming but, whilst there, she was kidnapped by one of the groomers (Abi) who fell madly in love with her. Little Ada bonded with Abi too and was cuddled in her arms when we returned to collect her so we were happy to return home without her.

I spoke to Tina yesterday morning and, apparently, all is going well with Ada (who is now Dinky). She and one of Abi’s other dogs had a brilliant time rolling in something less than savoury on her first evening (clearly she didn’t like being so well groomed and smelling sweet) so she is now known as Stinky Dinky! I gather Dinky is spending most of her time playing with Abi’s other dogs so things are looking good for her”

UPDATE ON DINKY 28.6.2010

All is going brilliantly with Dinky. Everyone who meets her adores her and she loves everybody too. She couldn’t have fitted in better with Abi’s 2 other dogs and they get on as if they have always been together. Dinky has also met and befriended many other doggy friends already and is a great ambassador for the lovely dogs who come over from Romania.
