Dylan

(Was Max)

Age: 1 year

Sex: Male, neutered

History

Dylan (was Max) was surrendered to the ISPCA by his owner.

Personality:
Dylan (was Max) is going to be a very big boy but he is a wonderful dog and will make a really lovely pet for someone. He pulls a bit on the lead so more training is required there. He does not appear to be toy or food possessive. He is friendly with people and other animals. He has encountered a toddler who has stroked him and thrown a ball for him and he got on fine. Nonetheless, as a young bouncy dog we recommend that he is not placed with small children and due care is always taken if he meets one.

Dylan’s (was Max) Dream Home:
Dylan (was Max) would love to be homed in a very active family, possibly with older children (ie teenagers). Dylan (was Max) will be best rehomed as an only dog where he can get the training and attention he needs.

Behaviour with other animals:
Dylan (was Max) is living in a home with cats and while interested in them, he has not been actively chasing them. Walking in the woods, he has seen lots of rabbits in the field eating, as well as a young fox and he has not pulled excessively to get at them. He has met several dogs: a Jack Russell got rather cross with him and barked in his face several times, with no reaction from Dylan (was Max).
