History

Elegant Ella was found as a stray and picked up by a pound, from which IRR rescued her. She had probably been hit by a car and had a bad eye injury which we initially thought may result in her losing her eye. Thankfully her eye was saved by the skillful veterinary team in Dublin and lots of TLC.

Personality:
Ella is a beautiful black labrador, possibly not purebred but very close. Initially she was very subdued, probably as a result of the accident that she had, but once she started to feel physically better she came out of her shell and was happy to play with other dogs and have lots of doggie fun.

Ella’s dream home:
Ella went straight to a forever home who had applied to IRR indicating that they were happy to welcome any retriever cross into their home.
