Lady Fliss Penny

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

LADY FLISS was previously known as Felicity. This lovely golden retriever girl had been dumped in the Wicklow mountains in Ireland. She now lives happily with Lord Jazper in Wiltshire.

VERY SAD NEWS (August 2013)

A heartbroken Denise tells us “I thought you would like to know that Fliss became very poorly on Thursday evening and, sadly, she was put peacefully to sleep last night (Friday 16th August).

The vets think it was a neurological problem as she had lost mobility in her back legs and, despite having lots of tests done etc., we had to take the only decision possible which we thought was the best for her.

Fliss had a wonderful life with us, she was very much loved and hopefully that made up for the less than ideal start to her life that she had to endure. We still have her best friend, naughty Jazper, who is deaf and going blind which brings challenges that will, no doubt, still keep us busy.

Thank you for all you did in matching us up with her which included the long drive you did to collect her from Leeds.

love from Denise, David, Siobhan and Jazper xx

Everyone at IRR would like to say how very sorry we are to hear the sad news about Fliss and we want to thank you so much for giving her those eight wonderful, happy years. Another beautifyl doggy angel is now flying high.
