Jake

JAKE’S HISTORY

INITIAL REPORT – IRELAND: MAY 2012

Jake is a 3 year old GR/English Setter cross who is absolutely fabulous. He was surrendered to IRR by another rescue.

FOSTERER’S FIRST REPORT – UK: MAY 2012

When Jake arrived we took him and our two girls for a walk to introduce them. He was a complete gentleman and bonded with the girls straight away.

Two days later Jake was groomed by Yvette, the IRR groomer. He was a complete star and he looks stunning.

Jake is such a loving boy and craves human affection. He is wonderful with children, although I would recommend that he is not re homed with small children as he does not realise how strong he is and would end up knocking them over. He loves all other dogs male or female, small or large. He is not food possessive and he has good basic commands.

He needs some training with walking on his lead as he pulls and he is a strong boy.

Jake is overweight and we now have him on a very well balanced diet and he is being exercised every day. Just in one week we can see the difference. He is not a greedy dog so it makes it much easier to get him back into shape.

Jake has settled in so well to our day to day family life and he would suit any loving home.
