Jake

Jake has been surrendered through no fault of his own.

Fosterer’s First report – IRELAND: July 2012

He’s 4 years old, gets on with dogs kids and cats. He’s very obedient, walks well on the lead, loves affection and loves to play.

FOSTERER’S FIRST REPORT – UK JULY 2012

Jake arrived yesterday and has settled well although he did seem a bit shell shocked. He is livelier this morning. His coat is very long and thick and so I’m going to be busy grooming him today!

FOSTERER’S SECOND REPORT – UK SEPTEMBER 2012

Jake is a lovely affectionate boy who just wants to please. He has adjusted well to living with my established pack of three, who did not really welcome him.

He knows his place but would probably be better as the only dog. Although he is great with children of all ages and would love to be in a family home it may be better if the children are older.

I have had no problems on walks with Jake. He will walk past most dogs without a second look. If he does hesitate and you tell him to “leave it” he will walk past politely.

Jake has been one of the most affectionate, obedient dogs I have fostered.

April 2013

Great news – Simon and Leanna have decided to adopt Jake, along with Lady their other foster dog, so hey won’t be going anywhere!
