Kallie

Age: 1 year

Sex: Female, spayed

History

Kallie (pronounced Kayleigh) is a golden retriever cross (perhaps with a Lurcher) who was found abandoned as a puppy in Cyprus, along with her sister. Her sister was quickly rehomed but poor Kallie was not so lucky. Eventually, her fosterer in Cyprus made contact with IRR and we arranged for her to be transported to the UK.

Personality:
Kallie is a beautiful, timid creature who desperately needs stability and love in her life. She’s quite small physically, but shows a laid-back retriever temperament when she is more confident. She loves affection, cuddles and reassurance and will make a wonderful pet.

Kallie’s Dream Home:
Because Kallie is a little nervous (unsurprising after a long plane journey with people she doesn’t know, a new foster home, and then surgery to be spayed!) she would love a home with another dog to show her the ropes and help her settle into her family.

October 2013

Kallie has gone to her Forever Home.
