Lady

LADY’S HISTORY

Lady is 8 years old. She was surrendered to IRR because her previous owner’s work commitments changes and they were no longer able to look after her.

Fosterer’s initial report – Ireland: July 2012

Lady is great with adults and with children, She is housetrained, good on the lead, travels well in the car and she’s not food possessive.

Fosterer’s first report – UK: July 2012

Lady arrived on Saturday and was a little scared and bewildered at first. She took some coaching to get her out the car and into the house, but once she found her confidence she was fine. She had a good wander round the place and did not seem at all bothered with the other 8 dogs that were in their kennels. Some time later we introduced all the dogs and apart from being a bit anxious at first Lady settled around them.

Lady is a superb girl very well-mannered and is totally house trained. She really just wants lots of fussing and she gets on great with all our dogs now.

Lady has also turned into a bit of a therapy dog as we also have Connor our 1st foster dog staying for 2 weeks and Connor has never wanted to play with others. So to our amazement yesterday morning she really coached Connor out of his shell and he started playing and chasing with her 🙂 She is the only dog he will play with so Lady is truly amazing!!!

She is such a happy girl to have around.

April 2013

Great news – Simon and Leanna have decided to adopt Lady as well as Jake their other foster dog, so they won’t be going anywhere!
