Lola

Age: 3yrs

Sex: Female – spayed

History

Lola was surrendered to IRR through no fault of her own.

Personality
Lola is a quiet and reserved girl. She is happy in the company of other dogs, although nervous of meeting new people and needs to be given time and space to explore new situations. She socialises well with other dogs, and she is currently being fostered with dogs, cats and chickens.

Lola’s dream home
A child free, quiet, calm home. Lola must be placed in a home where there is another dog to help her to build confidence. Lola loves to be in the company of calm and gentle people. She enjoys exercise, but is not too energetic.

Lola has gone to her Forever Home

Brilliant news from Lola’s New Home (30 May 2013)

Kate tells us that Lola seems to be settling extremely well. She has already made lots of ‘people’ friends, including some men, which is brilliant news. Her daddy, Paul, absolutely adores her and Lola has him totally wrapped around her paw.

The charming Lola also has the measure of Barney, her very handsome new Golden Retriever brother. As can be seen in the picture, they are getting on very well together and, clearly, are really enjoying each other’s company.

As we had hoped, Lola is beginning to blossom now she is no longer under the strict control of her mum, Jessie, and we are very much looking forward to future reports of her wonderful, happy new life in Dorset.
