Molly Burgess

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

Sad News 9 December 2021

Molly’s father said:

“Our beautiful old girl Molly left us today. The vet was so kind and considerate, he came round to our home so that she could pass away in the comfort of her own surroundings.

She had come to us from Ireland at age 5, so we had 8 lovely years with her, and Molly was perfect in every way, such an amazingly good dog, but dementia, liver disease, and degenerative myelopathy meant that it was her time. She went so peacefully and quickly.

Her mum was cradling Molly’s head on her lap, and I was fussing her face and ears, looking into her eyes and whispering to her. We are aching without her. Special thanks to David Harding of Damory Vets for his compassion and consideration.”

History

Mystical Molly was surrendered to IRR because the teenager in her family has gone to college and no-one has time to look after her properly any more.
