Mollie Westray

ANOTHER ROMMIE LADY

Mollie, who was originally called Doly was about 18 months old when she arrived in the UK having travelled from Romania with Nemo. Both dogs were then fostered fostered in Somerset.

FIRST FOSTERER REPORT

Belinda said “Doly is a very happy little girl and is a bit smaller than our Millie. Like Nemo, she is still quite nervous but when she realises you are friendly, her tail wags constantly. She ate her breakfast this morning and has accepted titbits, even sitting when they were offered. She will need some lead training and isn’t keen on wearing a collar, but she is such a responsive little girl, I am sure she will learn very quickly.

Doly travels extremely well, not a peep out of her on the journey to our house and was no trouble during her long journey from Romania.”

IN HER FOREVER HOME

Mollie had to have her unusual rear dew claws removed for her own safety but she is recovering well and is now settling into her forever home in Somerset where she is loved to bits.

Nigel said. “I thought you might like to see some pictures of Mollie settling in.

She is doing really well and we are so pleased with her. She is an absolute sweetheart and we are going to love having her.”

UPDATE MARCH 2010

Mollie is doing really well and seems very comfortable with us. She is gaining in confidence in leaps and bounds, comes when she is called and loves her walks. We both absolutely love having her around as she is so affectionate and good natured.

Her paws are healing after the operation, her stitches are out and the wounds are almost completely healed but it is a slow process. She is quite naughty, not interfering with the bandages when we are watching, but having a real go as soon as our backs are turned!. Our strategy is to keep her well exercised and tired which seems to be working.
