Ollie

Ollie is a stunning platinum Golden Retriever. He stands about one and a half times higher than the average Golden and has a glorious, thick snow white coat.

Age: 1 years old

Sex: Male, neutered

History

Ollie was surrendered to IRR with his friend Freddie who has already found his forever home. Sadly, this was due to a change in their family circumstances. They really didn’t want to part with either of their dogs and would only do so on the understanding that IRR would find Ollie a wonderful forever home.

Personality

Ollie has been brought up with children and gets on well with other dogs. He has not been cat tested.

Like most young dogs, he is eager to please but can be excitable and boisterous and needs to learn that jumping up is not a good idea when he is saying “hello” to everyone wherever and whenever he can. However, with the right basic training, Ollie will become a great additional member of any family.

Ollie’s dream home

Ollie is exceptionally strong and would only suit a family used to Goldens and with extensive Golden Retriever experience. He would benefit from training classes and may benefit from living with a slightly older sensible and steady dog.

Ollie is in foster in Burnley.
