Oscar Badham

OSCAR NEEDED A NEW HOME

Oscar’s previous owner, sadly, had to give him up because of work commitments and not enough time for him. He was originally called Chico and his owner said of him “Chico is microchipped and neutered. He is great on the lead and his recall is good. He is also good in the car although when I first had him he was frightened of it.

He can be a bit OTT with smaller children and enjoys rough play. He is house trained and generally very quiet, never barking at visitors although sometimes he may bark when he is looking for attention. He loves the water. He seems to be allergic to the flea stuff you put on their necks, it makes his tummy bad.”

Sandie fostered him in Ireland and said, “Although a bit bewildered, Chico has settled in well and has been playing with Monty a lot. He is generally very well looked after although he’s a bit timid when approached quickly. His owner said she used to drive her car up and down the lane and that’s how he was exercised!!!! He doesn’t chase other cars but he may get a little excited when he sees a small red car!!!!! “

Once in the UK, Chico went into foster with Jo and family in Wiltshire and they, like many fosterers before them, failed at the first hurdle and fell totally in love with him. Luckily, as he is such an adorable dog, they are still willing and able to foster for us.

CHICO NOW OSCAR IN HIS FOREVER HOME

Jo says. “Chico is now Oscar and he’s going to be staying here with us forever! He’s simply adorable. We couldn’t ask for a dog with a better all round temperament. Laid back? You bet!!”
