Ozzie & Jack Joblin

Ozzie (cream) and Jack (gold) are 5yr old Golden Retriever brothers who have been together since pups. They have no health issues and have been neutered.

HISTORY

IRR was privileged to take these two boys. Their owner, who had to reluctantly give them up due to a change of circumstances, would only entrust them to our care on the understanding they would not be separated as they are devoted to each other. The heartbreak of relinquishing their dogs was tragic, however, IRR’s Irish Coordinator assured them that it was harder to adopt a dog from IRR than to adopt a child as we only choose kind, patient loving homes and nothing else will do. She assured them, like all IRR dogs, the boys would be very safe and very very loved.

PERSONALITIES

These fun loving boys love each others company A squeaky toy will get Ozzie to jump in the water. Jack loves playing with a big stick. They love to explore so initially, at least , they will need to be kept on leads unless they are in a very secure location.

SOCIAL LEARNING

HOUSETRAINING: This will, hopefully, be completed before they leave for the UK.

LEADWALKING and RECALL: Jack walks on the right and Ozzie on the left. Both leadwalking and recall need work

CHILDREN: They are good with children

DOGS: They are good with other dogs. They are not food possessive.

CATS: It is unknown how they react to cats
