Quincey Deighton

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

TAKEN WAY TOO SOON (2.10.2015)

Why do our lovely dogs have to suffer? Life can be so cruel. Having found happiness for three years with Hannah and family, he was cruelly snatched away again. He had developed bone cancer and lost his battle on 2nd October.

Hannah wrote “Quincey went to doggie heaven this afternoon. Run free Quincey”

QUINCEY’S HISTORY

Quincey was around 7 yrs old when he was surrendered to IRR.

FOSTERER’S INITIAL REPORT (December 2011)

Despite his age, Quincey has the energy of a 3 year old. He is a very lovable, bright dog who loves people. He came to us having previously lived in a house with 2 other dogs, and so he is very relaxed around other dogs and loves to play. He loves nothing more than a walk, and we find he needs 2 long walks a day as he has a lot of energy. We call Quincey our shadow as he tends to follow us everywhere we go. He is most lovable dog one could meet!

REPORT FROM QUINCEY’S FOREVER HOME (April 2012)

Quincey has settled in extremely well. After nearly 4 months and a little persistence, Quincey has learnt how to do recall. He has also gained great confidence and there is nothing greater than seeing him run freely and playing with other dogs.

Being a very friendly dog he does like to jump up, so this is the only thing we need to work on. We are blessed to have found Quincey.
