Rusty

When this wee lad came from Ireland, he was called QUINCEY and was about 4 months old. He was found wandering near a very busy road.

He is a delightful little chap who was first fostered in Ireland before being transported to the UK.

UPDATE FROM ROSA (FOSTERER)

Quincy is just a lovely puppy. He is doing very well with the house training, there are no accidents during the day or overnight but he seems to always wee around 10pm in the house even if I put him in the garden, he just comes back as he doesn’t like the darkness.

He has the Labrador genes and can smell food a mile away; he was trying to lick my oven door while I was roasting a chicken!!

He loves his toys, his food, cuddles and playing and is a really happy dog. His barking has almost stopped since Nipper left, which is very good news.

I have left him on his own (and taken Kelly with me) for a couple of hours and he has been fine, nothing broken. I usually leave him with a big bowl of food and the television on, and he is just fine. Today I forgot to close the baby gate in the kitchen and when we came back he has made himself comfy on the sofa in the lounge J and the good news is nothing had been chewed!

FIRST REPORT FROM HIS FOREVER HOME

Quincey is now called Rusty. He has settled in well to his new home in Surrey. All the children adore him and he has made friends with another puppy who lives close by. So far, there have been no puddles and no chewing. In fact, he is behaving like a little star, bless him.
