Riley

Dannie is a stunning 10 – 11 month old pure bred male Golden Retriever. He is light Gold in colour. He is very affectionate and so friendly. His sweet, friendly personality with everyone he meets will delight you. Dannie came through our wonderful friends in Babydog Rescue in Ennis, Co. Clare with whom IRR has close ties. He is neutered, vaccinated. He has been just groomed.

Dannie is just starting life and he needs to be walked in a harness so he doesn’t pull. He has already learned the art of escaping, so this boy is an avid escape artist. He ran away so often that he could have been killed. This beautiful boy needs little work but more than that he needs a busy household that will keep his mind active with lots going on. He needs the security and deep love and the sense belonging to a family that will make him he feel that is has finally ‘come home’ something that has been missing in his life for a long time. Dannie has lived with dogs but could easily live on his own provided he has lots going on in his life. Although, only 10 or 11 months, he has an ’old head’ on young shoulders, he exhibits puppy-like behaviour but has already been educated by ‘life’, who
can be a stern master.

He is house trained and loves nothing better than being with you after a nice walk. A gorgeous dog that needs lots of tender loving care and plenty of love to make him feel welcome and needed.
