Scout

Scout is a lovely big, neutered 3 year old English Golden Retriever

HISTORY

Scout was being advertised as free to a good home but, if no home was found, he was going to be put to sleep. On hearing this, a group of guardian angels stepped in. Suzanne collected him from his previous owners and supplied the fosterers for him and everyone worked alongside IRR in order to get the best outcome for Scout, which they did.

PERSONALITY

He has a happy go lucky nature but like most young dogs he can, sometimes, be a little boisterous. He is polite, well mannered and wants to please.

During his time in foster, Scout has been a lovely, happy, good natured boy.

SOCIAL LEARNING

Housetraining: Being an indoor dog, Scout is fully housetrained.

Leadwalking/recall: He has, clearly, had some training when he was younger.

Resource guarding: Scout has shown absolutely zero aggression in the months he has been assessed in foster. In fact, quite the opposite. He is incredibly gentle and allows you to take food away from him and even out of his mouth.

Dogs & cats: He is good with other dogs, cats, and most other small and large animals.

SCOUT’S DREAM HOME

Scout’s needs are very simple. All he wants is a wonderful new family of his own where he will be loved to bits for the rest of his life. As he is such a gorgeous boy, someone is going to be extremely lucky to adopt him.

DECEMBER 2016

Scout is now in his very own forever home.
