Sparky McCauley

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

Sad News 20 June 2022

Sparky’s mum, Carol, said, “This evening at 6.30pm I had to say my final night-night to my big man Sparky. To say I’ll miss him is an understatement, he was my constant shadow, cuddle bug, and draft excluder. My big son you have taken part of my heart with you, I simply adored you and always will. Fly high, free from pain. Have fun with the blonde bombshell Poppy and you get to finally meet Bramley. I will be so lost without you my darling boy you were so so special and I’ll never forget you.

Thank you, IRR for entrusting me with him.”

They’re inseparable, love each other to bits, sleep together, play together, and off course I love the bones off them both”.

FIRST UPDATE FROM CAROL

This is Mr Sparky ( The Big Man) who came from Heather at IRR Northern Ireland

Poor Sparky had been left in a shed/barn for most of his 9 yrs so coming into a home was difficult. He had issues with doors, gates, washing machine, ironing board even the Hoover and the clock on the wall . In fact, anything different he couldn’t handle.

I took him to the beach but he had never see sand or sea, so I just spent some time encouraging him and ended up in the sea with my clothes on and now he loves it.

UPDATE (22.11.2015)

This is Sparky who I rescued 12 weeks ago my granddaughter Lucy and Sparky are the best off friends he is loved by all who meet him

1st ANNIVERSARY OF GOTCHA DAY (August 2016)

My beautiful Sparky on this very special gotcha day. I have had this handsome big man 1 yr today and what a long way he has come. He is no longer afraid of the sand & sea, doesn’t mind brushes, mops or the vacuum cleaners.

He comes through the front door, goes into the hall and lounge, runs, plays and does everything a handsome boy should do.

A big thank you to Heather and IRR for my darling big man, Mr Sparky

THIS IS POPPY

Poppy came from an older man who was getting remarried and his new wife didn’t like the dog and refused to live with her.

My thoughts were there would be no wife if she didn’t want my dog and I said it to him too. It was my hairdresser who introduced me too him and, of course, told him about me and animals so, now, I’ve had to find a new hairdresser!!

Poppy is my beautiful torture, my loveable, adventurous blonde bomb shell. She has been with me 5 weeks and her and Sparky are the best of friends

I never dreamed that my Big Man, the darker of the two, would be running like this with his bestie. They get on so well, I am really glad I decided to take Poppy on.
