Tasha Leeson

TASHA IS ALL ALONE NOW

In 2013 Duke, a neutered male, was almost 7yrs old and Tasha, a spayed female was 5yrs. Duke and Tasha were surrendered to IRR by their heartbroken owner because of a change in family circumstances which meant that they could no longer keep them. The two dogs had always lived together.

IT WAS A SAD GOODBYE TO DUKE (November 2017)

This is how we heard the heartbreaking news “I am really sad to say the very gorgeous Duke gained his wings last week. I fostered this beautiful boy with his best friend Tasha. He truly was the most handsome, gentle boy.

He had gone to live in Sheffield with Tasha but, sadly, his cancer returned so, to save him from suffering, he was helped to the Bridge last week.

THEIR HISTORY

Always together, we were looking for a home where they would still have each other.

IN FOSTER

They were fostered together in Leicester

Personalities: Duke and Tasha are wonderful dogs, completely accustomed to being in a family with children, and to living with each other. They eat together, sleep together and play together, and they would be lost without each other.

Duke is a gentle giant, loveable and loyal, loves company and cuddles. He does have a condition which requires him to take a thyroid tablet every day.

Tasha is much more petite, a beautiful girl, great with children and loves attention.

Behaviour with other animals: Unknown at the moment

DUKE AND TASHA’S DREAM HOME
These lovely dogs will be missing their family, so we would like to rehome them together. They would love a reasonably active household where there is plenty of fun and love.

GREAT NEWS (October 2013)

Duke and Tasha went to their Forever Home.
