Teddy-Edward Roberts

Gone to Rainbow Bridge

Sad News December 2023

Ted’s mum said, “My darling old Ted went to sleep peacefully at 5pm yesterday (4 December 2023). He was old, tired and said he’d had enough. He had a massive tumour on his spleen which was pressing on his gall bladder and other organs, and was likely to burst any minute. He was a mess when he came to me 9(?) years ago from being an outside dog in Ireland but he’d turned into the most loving tolerant shadow who wouldn’t go anywhere without me. It physically hurts to lose him but I like to think he’s at peace now and running like he used to. I named him Teddy-Edward . He was also known as Teddy-Dumpling, Tedster, Stinky, Bear-with-no-Brain , amongst others. I loved him dearly.”

History

NO TIME FOR THIS GORGEOUS BOY

Unsurprisingly, Liz “failed” as a fosterer and Ted became a wonderful addition to the family.

Both Liz and Ted were devastated just before Christmas 2019 when George crossed Rainbow Bridge but, in March 2019, their spirits were raised when Charlie joined the family.
