TOBY’S HISTORY

Toby is 4 years of age and was surrendered as the owners have two babies and no longer had the time to look after him.

Fosterer’s initial report – Ireland: July 2012

Toby lived in a pen with two other dogs. He’s housetrained, indifferent to children, good with my dogs and any dogs he’s met so far.

He does not chew / jump up etc. and walks well on the lead – a few pulls from time to time. He was friendly with other dogs and would pull towards them when he passed by.

Toby is generally playful and full of energy – a slight build of a dog in nature meant his playing was not too boisterous. He has a great personality and temperament and is very affectionate. He is fine on his own but does whimper and have the odd bark for the first 5 – 6 minutes after you leave the room and then he settles. He became very attached to me in the short time and would follow me around the kitchen. Overall, he was a pleasure to have to stay.

FOSTERER’S FIRST REPORT – UK: JULY 2012

Toby is a very nice boy who is good with cats and people. He is very polite and will sit and wait for his meal; he eats quickly and will not move until he has finished all his food.

While out walking he will pull on the lead if he gets the chance. I have found he walks better on a short lead. Sometimes he will grumble at other dogs as they approach but is fine when they actually meet.

TOBY HAS GONE TO HIS FOREVER HOME: JULY 2012

Here he is looking content to have his ear tickled by his new owner. We all wish Toby a very happy life in his new home.
