Woodie’s mum said, “Our beautiful IRR Woodie gained his angel wings on Wednesday (19 July 2023). Thank you IRR for entrusting us with such a happy soul. Our hearts are broken.”

Woodie was surrendered to IRR with his father, Syd, because their family didn’t have time for them.

Personality
Woodie is a nervous boy who may have suffered some ill-treatment in the past. He was initially terrified of a lead and of doors closing loudly, and he needs some patience and love to help him overcome his fears.

Woodie’s dream home
Woodie needs to be rehomed with a kind, loving and patient family who will continue to help him learn to trust people in a calm environment. He would benefit from living with another dog from whom he can learn confidence and trust. It’s not necessary for him to be rehomed with Syd, though clearly we would be delighted if someone would like to adopt them together.
