History

Zak was found as a stray, taken to a pound and was not reclaimed.
He is a working-type Labrador retriever.

Personality
Zak is a very calm and loving boy and would suit any type of household. He is very well behaved, house-trained, comfortable being handled, great in the car and excellent with other dogs.

Zak’s Dream Home
As you can see, Zak is a handsome boy, but he also has a wonderful, gentle and loving temperament and will make a fantastic pet for any family. He pulls a bit on the lead, but being a working-type labrador he is quite small, approximately the same size as a typical female golden retriever, so he is very manageable. Because of his size he would be good with young children or an older person.

He is very well behaved in the house, responds to the ‘no’ command, and loves nothing better than to play with his toy, preferably with you! He loves attention when there are people around, but he setles fine in his bed when left unattended. He does tend to whine and bark when out walking – this may be anxiety or excitement.

After his time in the pound, he really deserves to be an integral part of a family who will cherish him and involve him in all their daily activities.
