Clover Wells

HISTORY

When she came to the UK, Clover was about 5 months old and she is one of 8 puppies who were rescued in Ireland. Her mother is a Golden Retriever and her father is a collie.

As she was fully assessed in Ireland, Clover had a home all lined up for when she came from Ireland to the UK so she is now happily living in her Forever Home with Andrew and Linda.

UPDATE FROM CLOVER IN HER OWN WORDS (9.12.2014)

Clover tells us “Well we had a good journey home. My new mum Linda put me in a cardboard box with a lovely blanket and cuddled me all the way for 2.5 hours as the Motorway was rubbish. They gave me some water and treats and I was as good as gold.

I arrived at my new home and was greeted by 2 boys called Adam and Harry who made me feel right at home considering I really was very smelly. They showed me my new bed and cage. Fed me with a mug of biscuits and played with me for a while and I gave them as many cuddles as I could to everyone. Then they put me in a nice warm bath and washed and dried me so I was lovely and fluffy again. By this time I was shattered so I curled up in my new cosy bed and fell fast asleep.

When I woke up I did wee on the floor but, being a very smart cookie, after that they showed me outside, I immediately realised if I wee and poo out there I get a treat…so result!!!!

Last night my new Dad Andrew slept on the sofa in a sleeping bag so I wasn’t alone. We cuddled on the sofa for hours but, as he tried to put me in the cage thingy, I cried a lot so he decided the bed was for me and that’s where I am and very happy. I slept in my new bed until I woke him up with lots of licks to the face at 6am this morning. I think the cage will go as they have realised I am very happy and good in my own bed.

So far so good eh?…….. will be in touch soon.
Lots of love Clover xxx

PS. My family (I like that word) are very happy with me and think I am really lovely, absolutely beautiful and, listen to this, I am their dream dog so thank you so much to IRR for my rescue..xxxx”
