Tufty Dibben

TUFTY’S HISTORY

Tufty (was Pearl) was about 6 months old when she was ready for adoption. Her mother is a Golden Retriever and her father is a Collie. Tufty has a very sweet nature but is very shy. She loves to explore but most of all she loves to be cuddled.

When she moved into her perfect forever home, two of Tufty’s sisters, Clover and Willow were already happily settled in their forever homes as was her brother Josh.

Pearl, as she was then, went to live in her Forever Home

TUFTY’S FIRST DAY (JAN 2015)

Lucy says “She’s a lovely girl, probably more Collie than Retriever, bright and puppish. She chews her soft toy with serious intent.

She is quite nervous of Ian so he’s on the floor talking to her and giving her treats as she comes to him. I’ve put the flower essence drops in her water and on her food.

She had a warm shower in the back garden as soon as she got home then she had cuddles in warm towels.

The boys got to see her on Skype and can’t wait to meet her for real at the weekend.

She spent last night in the crate and cried for a short time but responded to me “shoshing” her and then slept through till we got up at 6.30am.

Between us we’ve spent most of today going outside and giving her treats as soon as she performs. Success has been about 50/50.

We are just keeping things as calm as we can although there was a pheasant in the back garden and it flew off in front of us. Unlike us, she didn’t react at all!

We’re going down to the village hall tomorrow to arrange for her puppy socialisation classes.”

MEETING THE FAMILY

Tufty and her humans have been involved in a few meets with her family. Here she was with her Mum meeting Josh Kossakowski (8.4.2015) with his “sister” Izzy and their Mum, Bridgette. .

In 2017, several of the siblings were able to have a Get Together.

They all got on really well together
